Available for Pre-Order: Lady of the Knight by M.J. Schiller

I am pleased to host author MJ Schiller here today! She is a hard working mom of four who apparently needs no sleep, because she comes out with a new book every other week. Well, maybe not quite, but she’s been busy. This week she’s here to tell us about her newest product!

Releasing January 27th, LADY OF THE KNIGHT, the second in the ROMANTIC KNIGHTS TRILOGY, is up for pre-order now for only 99 cents! Upon release the price will increase to $2.99, so take advantage of this limited time offer. If you love romance and the adventures inherent in space travel, this is the series for you. Book One, LEAP INTO THE KNIGHT, is also on sale for 99 cents!

Tagline ~
Would she betray the man she loves in order to save his life?

Blurb ~
Sir Darius Lee is a Knight of the High Order.
But when Darius discovers a stranger in his room in the middle of the night, and the intruder turns out to be a beautiful woman, he begins to question how he is meant to live his life.
Princess Megan of Bethyea is being held captive.
But when two knights help her to escape and bring her back to her home planet, she finds the home she knew no longer exists.
When The Council of Twelve questions Darius about his relationship with Maggie, she tries to flee from The Academy of the High Order to prevent him from losing his knighthood.
Will Darius and Orion find Maggie before she leaves Albion? And if they do, how can they face the decision of The Council? And what about the feelings Orion has developed for the princess?

Excerpt ~
Darius surveyed the women sadly. They looked so scared. Except for the tall one. He could have sworn she winked at him. As he was about to say he’d take them all, blaster fire erupted. The women screamed and dove for cover. Two of them crawled under the platform while the guards tried to figure out what was going on. The next thing Darius knew, Zavca was pressing a dagger to his throat.
“I knew you were up to something.”
A voice behind them interrupted. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you.”
Zavca’s weapon dropped harmlessly into his lap. Darius looked up to see Maggie holding a blaster to the slave lord’s temple. His heart leapt. He stood and pushed Zavca into his chair. Maggie took the electro-cuffs Mic had donated and coupled his wrist to his own throne.
A guard realized what they were doing and tried to climb on stage. Maggie kicked him off, planting her black boot in his chest. Another of Zavca’s men took aim at them with a blaster. Darius grabbed ahold of one of the four support post for the overhanging canvas and swung around, catching him squarely in the chin and sending a line of laser fire bursting safely into the air above them. He landed on the other side of the pole then somersaulted into the fighting.
Maggie took aim at any of the resisting guards, calling out to the women to gather at her side. Reinforcements would arrive shortly, and they had a very small window of opportunity to get themselves off-planet. Darius caught her signal, and she led them behind the stage in the direction she came from.

Bio ~
MJ is a lunch lady in the heart of Central Illinois. My gosh! Can you get more folksy than that? She met her husband at the University of Missouri-Columbia and now she has a twenty-year-old (how did that happen?) and eighteen year old triplets! She loves to read, karaoke (where she can pretend she is a rock star) and spends WAY too much time on Facebook. She grew up in St. Louis and still has family there.

And here's the cover to Book One in the series:

  3. I read and reviewed Leap Into the Knight and loved it--suspense, romance and action in a Sci-Fi setting--what could be more fun? Good luck with the current project.
