Today I am having brunch with mom, my two daughters, my grandchildren, my son-in-law, and his sister. I plan to enjoy their company and not think about writing until at least suppertime. So I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a wonderful day, whether you're a mom or not. And to extend a virtual rose to those who have nurtured another, whether or not you gave birth. Happy Mother's Day!
